Literature Text

One cat upon the garden wall did hiss
And gently arch her back to mark her ire.
She spat and stared most woefully at that,
The cat who dared to challenge her like this.
The other arched her back with equal fire;
They gave each other warning, cat to cat.
There was no reason either one should spit
And carry on with fury—raise a din.
But cats care not for fairness, not at all;
And garden walls convenient for a fit.
Alas, not one shall win.
I said I would write something deeper for today's sonnet (February Sonnet Challenge, day eight: [link] ), but alas, I did not. :P
This is a curtal sonnet.

....I really want to illustrate this now. You painted such a remarkable picture though, that I don't think I could do it justice if I tried. :3
